Clark University
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
Clark may award up to ten merit-based scholarships to domestic students transferring to Clark from two-year colleges. Candidates must be members of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society with a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA and be transferring to Clark with a minimum of 45 credits. Admission applications and all supporting credentials must be received by the stated deadlines. $10,000 per year.
Phi Theta Kappa All-USA Academic Scholarship
Clark may award up to four merit-based scholarships to domestic students transferring to Clark from two-year colleges who have been nominated to the Phi Theta Kappa/All-USA Academic Team. Candidates must have a minimum 3.7 cumulative grade point average and be transferring to Clark with an associate's degree (or a minimum of 60 credits). Admission applications and all supporting credentials must be received by the stated deadlines. $15,000 per year.
Transfer Leadership Scholarship
The Transfer Leadership Scholarship may be awarded to domestic students who are transferring from a two-year and who have demonstrated leadership at their institution, place of employment or community organization. Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.3 while carrying a full course load in a challenging curriculum. $7,000 per year.
New England College
Transfer Scholarship Program, at New England College all Transfer students are offered a scholarship. These scholarships begin at $5,000 and go up to $16,000. These are merit based scholarships. We take into consideration your academic background and your engagement outside the classroom. These activities included: jobs, sports, the arts, community service, club and organizations. It is imporant to remember that we also offer an discount pricing plan for the Adult Learner. Allow these student the chance to take courses at a discounted rate and pay per credit.

Transfer Students
William and Patricia Jolicoeur Greenfield Community College Transfer
Student Scholarship*
This scholarship is awarded to a student or students transferring to
Western New England College for full-time undergraduate study from
Greenfield Community College (GCC). The students must have completed the
equivalent of at least one full semester (12 credits) at GCC. Preference
is given to students who declare a major in economics or who declare an
intent to minor in economics. For students declaring a major in
economics, they could be also be majoring in another field. For students
who have declared an intention to minor in economics, they must actually
declare the minor no later than the end of their first semester at
Western New England College and must have completed some coursework
toward the minor no later than the end of their second semester at the
College, or the scholarship cannot be renewed for the students' second
year at the College. If in a given year no transfer students from GCC
enroll with a declared economics major or a declared intent to minor in
economics, secondary consideration will be given to GCC transfer
students majoring, in order of preference, in business, or in any other
discipline at Western New England College. Preference will be given to a
student with a GCC cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. The scholarship is
renewable if the student maintains a minimum cumulative GPA of at least
3.0 throughout their college education. Demonstrated financial need is
not a mandatory factor in awarding the scholarship. Scholarship
recipients must be exposed to free market ideas during the course of
their study at Western New England College. As appropriate, the
scholarship could be awarded in conjunction with other scholarships such
as the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship or the Transfer Scholarship. This
endowed scholarship was established through the generosity of William
and Patricia Jolicoeur. Mr. Jolicoeur earned his MBA at Western New
England College in 1975 and had demonstrated a passion for the
discussion and dissemination of economic concepts for undergraduate
students.* *
Northampton** Junior College Alumni Association Opportunity Endowed
Scholarship*
This scholarship is awarded to a student enrolling at Western New
England College who has earned an associates degree from a two-year
college. The student can be pursuing a degree in any program of the
College and must have demonstrated financial need. This endowed
scholarship was made possible through the generosity of Kenneth D.
’63/G’66 and Joan Cardwell and the Northampton Junior College Alumni
Association.
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
An unlimited number of $7,000 scholarships are awarded each year to
full-time transfer students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa, the
two-year college honor society. To be eligible, students must
matriculate immediately following completion of their two-year college
degree. The minimum college grade point average is 3.50 and an A.A.,
A.S., A.A.S, or Canadian equivalent is required. Students must also be
U.S. citizens, and they cannot have previously received a bachelor's
degree. The scholarship is renewable for a second year of full-time
study if a 2.7 Western New England College grade point average is
maintained.
Transfer Scholarship
Merit scholarships are awarded annually to transfer students who enroll
with at least 12 transfer credits. For consideration, students must have
at least a 3.00 grade point average from their previous college. The
scholarship is renewable if the 2.70 Western New England College grade
point average is maintained.
Eligibility for the Phi Theta Kappa and Transfer Scholarships is
normally based only on grades for college-level courses, usually
referred to as 100-level (or higher) courses. A composite college GPA
will be calculated for students who attended more than one college.
Students who have at least a 3.50 GPA will usually be awarded a $7,000
merit scholarship while students whose GPA is 3.00-3.49 will usually be
awarded a $5,000 merit scholarship.
Freshman and Transfer Students
International Student Scholarship
A limited number of International Student Scholarships ranging from
$10,500 to $14,000 are offered each year to undergraduate freshmen and
transfer students. The scholarships are renewable if the recipient
maintains at least a 2.70 Western New England College grade point
average. The Admissions Office selects recipients who have an
outstanding academic record and who have at least a 213 computer-based
TOEFL score (79-80 Internet-based or 550 paper-based).

Wheelock College

Fall Semester Only
Wheelock requires applicants to have a cumulative college GPA of at least a 3.2 or higher in transferable classes and to have been in college for a minimum of two semesters.
To be considered for the scholarship, completed applications need to be submitted by the April 15th priority deadline - there is no separate application for merit scholarships. Please note that eligibility is based on the grades and transcripts we have on file at the time your admissions decision is made.
The merit scholarship is renewable while you pursue your Bachelor's degree at Wheelock, provided you maintain a 3.0 GPA and continuous full-time enrollment starting in the fall of 2009. Scholarship recipients will be notified in early May.
